Is 'Jersey Shore' Turning Snooki Into an Alcoholic? Her Ex Says Yes (VIDEO)

It looks like Snooki might have a drinking problem.

Okay, so maybe we already knew that. But Snooki's ex, Emilio Massela, has a little more to say about it. After seeing a video that TMZ released of Snooki dancing with a potted plant (no, really, she was dancing with a potted plant), Massela tweeted his feelings about the situation: "MTV's Jersey Shore is turning Nicole into an Alcoholic," he said. "They are killin her liver. That's not the nicole I knew! Poor girl."

I'm sure the Nicole he knew drank plenty, but maybe not quite as much as now or for such an extended period of time. The rules of reality TV are simple: get a bunch of party people in the same place and serve them as much free alcohol as they want.

Anyone who's been to a party where the punch has been spiked a bit too hard knows that the drama comes out when people are wasted.

But here's the difference this year: Snooki and the rest of the cast have shot two seasons of "Jersey Shore" back-to-back. They started shooting season five directly after returning home from the trip to Florence that will make up season four. There has to be a least some difference between two and a half months of binge drinking as opposed to five straight. Especially when you're Snooki-sized. What is she, like four feet tall?

Check out the Snooki video below (let's be honest, it's still kinda funny). I hate to throw any sympathy at the "Jersey Shore" cast considering their five-figure incomes per episode, but maybe they need a break from the booze?
